2. Hosting and server logs

This website is hosted by Vercel Inc. (340 S Lemon Ave #4133, Walnut, CA 91789, USA). When you visit the site, Vercel processes technically necessary data (IP address, date and time, requested page, browser type) in server log files. The legal basis is our legitimate interest in secure and stable operation (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR). Transfers to the USA are based on EU Standard Contractual Clauses. Log data is deleted automatically after a short period.

3. No tracking cookies

This website does not use tracking or marketing cookies and no analytics services. Only technically necessary processing takes place.

4. Availability requests and bookings

When you check availability or book, we process the data required for this: first and last name, email address, optional phone number, stay dates, booked home and price. The legal basis is the performance of a contract (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR). We use the channel manager Beds24 (Beds24.com GmbH, Germany) as a processor to manage bookings. Booking data is retained in line with statutory retention obligations.

5. Payments

Payments are processed by Stripe (Stripe Payments Europe, Ltd., 1 Grand Canal Street Lower, Dublin, Ireland). You enter your payment details directly with Stripe; we do not receive or store full payment data. The legal basis is the performance of a contract (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR). Stripe's privacy notices apply in addition.

6. Guest portal and online check-in

After a booking you receive access to our digital guest portal (online check-in, access, stay services). To meet statutory registration and identification obligations, identity document data may be processed there; details are explained in the portal before each processing step. Legal bases are Art. 6(1)(b) and (c) GDPR.

7. Contact by email

If you contact us by email, we process your details to handle the request (Art. 6(1)(b) or (f) GDPR).

8. Your rights

You have the right of access (Art. 15), rectification (Art. 16), erasure (Art. 17), restriction (Art. 18), data portability (Art. 20) and the right to object to processing based on legitimate interests (Art. 21 GDPR).
